Matthew 7:13-14 - The Narrow Gate
Matthew 7:15-23 - False Prophets
Matthew 7:24-27 - The Wise Builder
What is your life building towards? The narrow way is the way.
Christ does not promise that there will be no storms. What
He does promise is that those who trust in Him will survive that storm. He is using the word picture of building a house. This "house" is a person's spiritual strength, their beliefs, and the life they construct as a result. Those who live by His teaching
will be like a man who has built a house on a foundation of rock. The rain fell, the floods came, the wind beat on the house. The house stood through it all because the foundation was sound.
The same storm will come against those who do not trust
in Christ and follow His teaching.
“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.””

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”

“I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws.”
Psalms 119:7
Hebrews 12:1
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
05:40:49 From Vasco Duke To Everyone:
“Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.”

1 Cor. 5:11
But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one.
John 10:7-10 NLT — so he explained it to them: “I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. All who came before me were thieves and robbers. But the true sheep did not listen to them. Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
John 14:6 NLT — Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.
