Good morning brother,

Topic: The Third Temptation (Matthew 4:8-11) (1 John 2:15) (Matthew 16:26) (John 5:20)

You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you.

Submit to God and resist the devil

Listen to the heart of God in Scripture.

Ear is in the middle of the heart.

Your heart for prayer.

Your heart for the Body of Christ.

Question: The enemy and sin strike at the heart. How can we let go and let God? The pride of life (jump from the pinnacle of the temple)

Thoughts:

To worship God and God alone is the cardinal truth of Scripture. For the redeemed believers, the thought of bowing down and worshiping the prince of darkness should never come across. Jesus would never, ever worship Satan. He would take back the kingdom in God’s time and in God’s way – by defeating Satan not only here in the temptation but later at the cross.

05:08:43 From Juan Wyatte to Everyone:

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’” Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬-‭11‬ ‭

05:08:59 From Juan Wyatte to Everyone:

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.”

‭‭1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭15‬ ‭

05:09:18 From Juan Wyatte to Everyone:

What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭16‬:‭26‬

05:09:36 From Juan Wyatte to Everyone:

For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed.”

‭‭John‬ ‭5‬:‭20‬ ‭

05:10:03 From Juan Wyatte to Everyone:
