Oh To Be Wise Meditations

The world is living a dream and it says wake me up when its all over. You only live once so do whatever you want, as long as it feels good. Look, here is someone who did not depend on God for safety, but trusted instead in great wealth and looked for security in being wicked. To the christian this life is the Lord's, who gave his life for me so that I would live for him. Heaven is a dream that will soon come true, no eye has seen and no ear has heard. Till then I must not get caught up in the world's dreamland and fall asleep in sinful desires. Our goal every day is live with the eyes of heart open to heaven. Listening to the soft still voice speaking to our hearts and minds. This renewed life in Christ is real, it takes grace and mercy from God to not give up our faith. The wicked in this world would rather you wake them up from sin and death, than to actually change there life around in righteousness and truth. The enemy is like the Sandman putting souls into a restless sleep, thinking they are living the dream. This because they did not think it worthwhile to acknowledge God, God will deliver them over to a corrupt mind so that they do what is not right. They are evil, wicked, and greedy, as well as mean in every possible way. They want what others have, and they murder, argue, cheat, and are hard to get along with. They gossip, say cruel things about others, and hate God. They are proud, conceited, and boastful, always thinking up new ways to do evil. These people don't respect their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. My friends, this is why you must remain faithful and follow closely what we were taught in the Gospel. God has chosen us from the beginning to be saved by the sanctification of the Spirit and by faith in the truth. To this He called you through the Gospel, so that you may share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Meditate 2 Thess. 2:9-15 https://biblehub.com/2_thessalonians/2-10.htm
