Oh To Be Wise Meditations

What do you give a God that has everything? For every wild animal in the forest belongs to Him, as well as the cattle that grazes on a thousand hills. Nor does he need anything that we can supply by working for him, since it is he himself who gives life and breath and everything else to everyone. Oh Lord, you have made so many things! How wisely you made them all! The earth is filled with your creatures. What are people, that you should make so much of us, that you should think of us so often? During this Christmas season there is so much to be thankful for. Jesus, to God who has everything I give you my heart. Let my eyes delight in your ways and your life be an example to me. I will commit myself to instruction, listening carefully to your word for knowledge. My devoted life to you, offering my body as a living sacrifice the most important gift I want to bring to you. What do you give a God that has everything? Yourself. What does a person who has nothing get when they believe in the Gospel? Jesus who is everything. Meditate Job 7:17
