Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Scripture is so important for growth in believers. It is God-breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. How will the next generation hear about God and His Word if we are not a good example of keeping the faith. So many believers get stuck in religion and think they know it all. It's important that we stay humble in knowledge so God can gives us more of him. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created. Children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God. That means we are babes in the faith and we must feed on the Living Word for growth and knowledge. Born again Christians are renewing there minds daily growing in the knowledge of Christ. For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God. I imagine the seed of Holy Spirit in every believer taking root in our hearts and minds. Giving us wisdom unto righteousness and truth, allowing us to enjoy eternal life now in the land of the living. The word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double-edged sword. It cuts all the way through, to where soul and spirit meet, to where joints and marrow come together. It judges the desires and thoughts of the heart. Will you let the Living Word continually transform you, or are you content in your ways?
