A Call to Total Surrender

Good morning Brothers. Happy Monday! God loves you. I love you. Praise God for waking you up to see another week. Take a moment to pray for someone, God will hear and answer your prayers. Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.(Hebrews‬ ‭6‬:‭1‬-‭2‬). Let’s sing, Fight the good fight with all thy might, Christ is thy strength and Christ thy right; Lay hold on life and it shall be, Thy joy and crown eternally. Cast care aside, lean on thy guide; His boundless mercy will provide; Trust, and the trusting soul shall prove Christ is its life, and Christ its love! Today’s verse is from Mark 8:35. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. Taking up our cross is an act that we do on this side of eternity. But one day, we will be resurrected and given new life a life without sorrow, suffering, death, or pain. A life eternally spent in God's presence. That is the promise Jesus makes us when He asks us to follow Him. That is the life we get to look forward to when we give up our lives for Jesus' sake. The message of Jesus is life changing, yet beautifully simple: God's love and forgiveness are available to all. He can make us new! God loves you. Have a blessed day.
