A Rhythm of Rest
Good morning, Brothers. Happy Sunday! Praise God for waking you up this morning. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to hug someone today. Let’s sing, There is no pain, Jesus can't feel. There is no hurt, that He can't heal. For all things work, According to the masters purpose, and his holy will. No matter what you are going thru, remember that God only wants a chance to use you for the battle is not yours,it’s the Lord's! Today’s verse is from Genesis 2:2-3. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. When God rests, that does not indicate laziness or exhaustion from work. God models a rhythm of work followed by rest and reflection. Just like God, we make things and name them. We work and then rest. This is the standard pattern of work and rest created for us from the beginning. God asks us to plan a time to rest every week. God loves you. He intends to bless you. Have a blessed day.
