Be Imitators

Good morning Brothers, Happy Monday! Praise God for waking you up this morning. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to hug a loved one, tomorrow is never promised. Let’s sing, Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so. Little ones to him belong; they are weak, but he is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so. Today’s first is from Ephesians 5:1. Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children. Children learn to function in real life by imitating those around them. They learn to speak, They learn to interact with others and They learn what's culturally and socially appropriate by watching and imitating. Learning by imitation doesn't stop in childhood. Adults too, will often reflect those closest to them, as well as their environment. Regardless of where we're at in life, we're all being discipled by something. That's why we should carefully consider who we are listening to and following. By choosing to imitate Christ, we become more like Him day by day. Who are you imitating today? God loves you. Have a blessed day.
