Blessed in Trust

Good morning, Happy Friday. Praise God for bringing you to the end of another week. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to thank God for a prayer he has answered for you. Let’s sing, I just want to praise you. Forever and ever. For all you've done, done for me. Blessings and glory and honor. They all belong to you! Thank you Jesus for blessing me! Today’s verse is from Jeremiah 17:7. But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. Like a parent with a child who's made a terrible choice, God makes it very clear that our choices have led and will lead to consequences. Yet, rather than only focusing on all that's been lost and will be lost because of our terrible choices, Jeremiah takes a moment to bring a refreshing reminder. God calls those who trust Him "blessed," even as sin, chaos and pain reign around them. Who do you trust? Who is your confidence in? We get to choose who and what we worship. If it is the Lord, take heart knowing that an abundant life in God, full of fruit, even when sin is all around is the mark of having chosen to trust Him. And in this you are Blessed! God loves you.
