Cultivate What Matters Most

Good morning Brothers, Happy Sabbath. Thank God for waking you up this morning. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to pray for a loved one, God will hear and answer your prayers. Let’s sing, Praise Him! praise Him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer! Sing, O Earth, His wonderful love proclaim! Hail Him! hail Him! highest archangels in glory; Strength and honor give to His holy Name! Like a shepherd, Jesus will guard His children, In His arms He carries them all day long: Praise Him! Praise Him! Tell of His excellent greatness. Praise Him! Praise Him! Ever in joyful song! Today’s verse is from Colossians 3:12. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. We need to cover ourselves in actions and attitudes that result in us looking more like Jesus every day. Imagine putting on shirts of compassion, patience and forgiveness. As you go about doing that, choose to take part in activities that build you up spiritually. The more you intentionally pursue actions that lead to humility, compassion, and kindness, the more those traits will become a natural part of your life. A life marked by God's love is going to display the very things the apostle Paul talks about in Colossians 3:12.

So if we want to live like Jesus, then we need to receive the new life He's given to us and accept His unconditional love. Today, begin to reflect His love to others by showing people compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
