Faith under Fire

Good morning and Happy Friday. God loves you. I love you. God has loved us through our good and our bad. Thank him for waking you up this morning. Today’s verse is from Ephesians 6:16. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. From the very beginning, Satan has tried to tempt humanity away from God. He works hard to keep people from knowing the truth about God. Even after a person comes to faith in Jesus, their battle continues. Raising up the defensive shield of faith is the best and only defense against the attacks of the evil one. If he tries to turn your attention towards ambition, pride, or lust, recall Jesus defying him in the wilderness. God loves you. Have a blessed day choosing to trust in what God says about Himself and ourselves, rather than the lies of the enemy.
