Forgiveness Matters

Good morning Brothers, Happy Saturday! Thank God for another week. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to prepare for today’s sabbath rest. Then he said, Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. Jesus answered him, Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.(Luke 23:42-43). Let’s sing, Jesus! Lover of my soul; Friends may fail me, foes assail me, He, my Savior, makes me whole. Hallelujah! what a Savior! Hallelujah! what a Friend! Saving, helping, keeping, loving, He is with me to the end. Today’s verse is from Colossians 3:13. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. God can forgive your darkest and ugliest sins. Then, He will empower you to forgive others. Is there someone you're withholding forgiveness from? Ask God to soften your heart for that person and teach you how to forgive. Scripture isn't asking us to do something that Jesus hasn't already done for us. And, Scripture also says that to the extent we forgive, we will be forgiven (Matthew 6:14-15). So if we truly want to experience God's forgiveness, then we need to extend forgiveness to others-even when we can't forget what they've done. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
