Friday morning Zoom Battle Prayer is on! Let’s do this! New week, new theme, new topic. Come join with brothers in Christ and let’s grow together in the knowledge of Jesus. The LORD is raising up men that understand the times they are living in and want to pursue stronger relationship with God and each other.
Let’s focus this new week on God speaking to us. What are ways the LORD speaks to us? Are we keeping all avenues open to be able to hear from Him? As we read the word and spend time in relationship with Jesus he will bring things to our remembrance.
Topics this new week: GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH SCRIPTURE. GOD SPEAKS THROUGH GIFTED TEACHERS WHOSE SOURCE IS THE BIBLE. GOD SPEAKS TO US THROUGH DIFFICULTIES. GOD SPEAKS THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT. GOD SPEAKS THROUGH HIS CREATION. GOD SPEAKS THROUGH WHATEVER OR WHOMEVER HE CHOOSES, BUT NEVER IN DISAGREEMENT WITH THE BIBLE.
Week 1 theme: God Speaks. What are ways God speaks to us. We primarily hear from God by regularly spending time reading the Bible and obeying what it says. The Bible is God’s message to humankind. Everyting we need to know to live the Christian life is already in the Bible. As we spend time meditating on his Word, God reveals his truth to us.
Wrong attitudes, resentment, or unconfessed sins can create distance in our relationship with God. When this happens, confession and repentance will bring us back into a close relationship where we can hear from God again.
Let's talk in the morning about how
God speaks to us through creation. God's eternal power and character cannot be seen. But from the beginning of creation, God has shown what these are like by all he has made. That's why those people don't have any excuse. God also speaks through whomever or whatever you chooses. He can speak governments and powers. He can even use evil to accomplish his holy purpose. This is very difficult subject. Let’s be in prayer and honor one another as we hear from the LORD.
