Give or Take

Good morning Brothers, Happy Thursday! Praise God for waking you up this morning. God loves you. I love you. God is Good all the time and All the time God is good. Right now take a moment to pray for someone. God will hear and answer your prayers. But the Lord said to Samuel, Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.(‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭16‬:‭7‬). Let’s sing, O praise ye the Lord! Praise Him in the height; Rejoice in His word, Ye angels of light; Ye heavens, adore Him By whom ye were made, And worship before Him, In brightness arrayed. O praise ye the Lord! Thanksgiving and song To Him be out-poured All ages along: For love in creation, For heaven restored. For grace of salvation, O praise ye the Lord! Today’s verse is from Acts 20:35. In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: It is more blessed to give than to receive. When you live with a give more than you take mindset, you don't just bless others—you also bless yourself. Give Jesus away! When you're generous with your time, words, and resources, people will be more open to hearing about Jesus. It is always more blessed to give to others than to receive for ourselves. Jesus said that when we use our life to help others, we end up even more blessed. Today take some time to consider the way your own life has been blessed by others. Then, write down a few ways that you can begin to help others who are in need. What practical ways can you bless those in your neighborhood, work, or school? Begin to build a habit of being a blessing to others. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
