God Speaks Today

Good morning, Happy Sunday. Praise God for waking you up this first day of the week. Thank God for this beautiful day. Take a moment to pray for a loved one, tomorrow is not promised. Let’s sing, We have heard a joyful sound, Jesus saves, Jesus saves; Spread the gladness all around, Jesus saves, Jesus saves; Bear the news to every land, Climb the steeps and cross the waves, Onward ’tis our Lord’s command, Jesus saves, Jesus saves. Today’s verse is from Hebrews 4:12. For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. One of the best things you can do for your life is to engage in Scripture daily. The more that we develop regular habits of engaging with God, the easier it will be to hear and follow His guidance. God's Word is full of refreshment for our weariness. He speaks encouragement to those who follow Him and listen to His voice. God wants to speak to us, but we must come to Him ready to listen. Take some time today to create a daily habit of engaging in God's Word. It will shape your heart and mind toward loving God and loving those around you. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
