He Loved You First

Good morning Brothers, Happy Friday. Praise God for waking you up this morning and for bringing you to the end of another blessed week. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to Thank God! Give thanks in all circumstances. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.(Matthew‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬-‭11‬).Let’s sing, Give thanks with a grateful heart, Give thanks to the Holy One, Give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ, His Son. And now let the weak say, I am strong, Let the poor say, I am rich, Because of what the Lord has done for us, Give thanks! Today’s verse is from 1 John 4:19. We love because he first loved us. If we say that we love God, then we should be committed to showing God's love to each other. As you reflect on today's verse, ask yourself: Is there anyone in my life that I need to show love to today? Is there anyone I need to forgive? In what ways can I love my brothers and sisters in Christ? Be intentional to receive God's love, to remain in God's love, and to respond with God's love. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
