Here's What Humility Looks Like...

Good morning. Happy Sunday. Thank God for waking you up this first day of the week. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to pray for a loved one. God will hear and answer your prayer. Let’s sing, Even though I can’t see and I can’t feel your touch, I will trust you lord. How I love you so much, Though my nights may seem long and I feel so alone. Lord my trust is in you, I surrender to you. Today’s verse is from 1 Peter 5:6. Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Pride can feel good, but it can hold us back from who God made us to be. Pride links our worth to our accomplishments, and it prevents us from seeing who we truly are. Humility helps us realize that we are not enough. When we surrender ourselves to God, we allow Him to be glorified through us. God is enough for us! Humility might cost us something—but it leads to abundant life. So today, how can you humble yourself before God? It might mean laying down your social standing, your reputation, your financial security, your sense of authority, or your expertise. Take a few moments and process what you may need to lay down in order to draw closer to God. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
