Jesus Our Light

Good morning Brothers, Happy Sunday! Praise God for the first day of December. God loves you. I love you. Thank God for his safety throughout another year. Let’s sing, Blessed Jesus, at Thy word. We are gathered all to hear Thee; Let our hearts and souls be stirred, Now to seek and love and fear Thee; By Thy teachings sweet and holy, Drawn from earth to love Thee solely. All our knowledge, sense, and sight, Lie in deepest darkness shrouded. Till Thy Spirit breaks our night, With the beams of truth unclouded. Thou alone to God canst win us; Thou must work all good within us. Today’s verse is from John 1:5. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. Have you ever stumbled through a dark room? Do you remember how great it was to turn on the light so you could see where you were walking? Jesus is our light! He shines within the darkness of the world around us, and within our own lives. Without His light shining in the darkness, we would be lost and without hope. Spend some time today in prayer, asking Jesus to continue to illuminate the path of life for you. Let the light of Jesus shine through you in the way you love those around you. God loves you.
