Good morning Brothers. Happy Sunday. Praise God for waking you up this first day of the week. God loves you. I love you. This morning thank God for his unfailing love and mercy. But Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field. He defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the Lord brought about a great victory.(2 Samuel 23:12). Let’s sing, God, who made the earth and heaven, Darkness and light: You the day for work have given, For rest the night. May Your angel guards defend us, Slumber sweet Your mercy send us, Holy dreams and hopes attend us all through the night. Guard us waking, guard us sleeping, And, when we die, May we in Your mighty keeping all peaceful lie. When the trumpet call shall wake us, Then, O Lord, do not forsake us, But to reign in glory take us with You on high. Today’s verse is from Genesis 1:3. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light. Not only did God create light, but He IS light. And He wants to shine through you! How can you shine God's light? As a child of light, you can be a light in our dark world by the way you live, speak, and act. Today, ask yourself: how will I continue to walk in step with Jesus as my guiding light? What will I do to be a light in my world? Who will I share His light with? Encourage someone who's struggling, confront a lie with truth, or tell someone about Jesus the greatest light of all. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
