LIFTING OUR EYES

Good morning Family, Happy Tuesday! God is Good all the time and all the time God is good. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to pray for someone, God will hear and answer your prayers. Let’s sing, When we walk with the Lord in the light of His word. What a glory He sheds on our way. While we do His good will, He abides with us still. And with all who will trust and obey. Trust and obey, for there's no other way. To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey. Today’s verse is from Philippians 4:6. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Have you ever felt like the weight of the world was resting on your shoulders? Unfortunately, that way of thinking has slipped into our everyday faith, convincing us that it's all up to us. The work, the bills, the appointments, the kids' practices, making it to church, finding a spouse-big and small responsibilities loom over us, gawking at our self-reliance. Prayer widens our perspective. It helps us to see that God is, in fact, at work, even when we can't see the whole picture. We are no longer in our struggles alone, but instead, we are children coming to our Father for help, trusting His heart for us. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
