Love Like Jesus

Good morning Brothers, Happy Saturday. Praise God for waking you up this Sabbath morning. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to hug a loved one, tomorrow is not promised. Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.(John‬ ‭14‬:‭21‬). Let’s sing, Come, all Christians, be committed to the service of the lord; Make your lives for him more fitted, Tune your hearts with one accord. Come into His courts with gladness,

Each his sacred vows renew, Turn away from sin and sadness,Be transformed with life anew. God's command to love each other Is required of every one; Showing mercy to one another mirrors His redemptive plan. In compassion He has given of His love that is divine; On the cross sins were forgiven; Joy and peace are fully thine. Today’s verse is from John 13:34. A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. We can love others because God first loved us. Jesus cares about the quality of our love toward others, and the measure of the quality of our love is Jesus, not people. We shouldn't compare our acts and thoughts against other people, because the only person we are called to be like is Jesus Himself. Think about the past few days and reflect on how loving you were toward other people. Did you go out of your way to help someone? Were you selfless in showing love? How can you show love? Send a text, make a meal, open a door, open your home, extend grace, offer forgiveness, put others' needs ahead of your own. Spend some time in prayer, and then take a step toward showing someone love. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
