No Condemnation

Good morning Brothers, Happy Thursday! Praise God for waking you up this morning. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to reflect on how good God has been to you. Let’s sing, Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee; Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty! God in three persons, blessed Trinity! Today’s verse is from Romans 8:1. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Are you ever disappointed with yourself? You are not alone. Even the great apostle Paul expressed serious disappointment in his ongoing battle with sin. Yet even in his despair, Paul knew that sin, however serious, would not and could not—have the final say! You and I are sinful—yes, dreadfully so, and we remain so. But we are also supremely loved, completely forgiven, and never in danger of condemnation. Do not suppress or ignore your disappointment at your ongoing flaws and failings. Let it drive you back to Jesus, in gratitude and relief. How is God calling you to think differently? What is God calling you to do as you go about your day today? The more aware we are of our sin, the more wonderful we will realize the truth - that there is not, and never will be, condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
