No Greater Love

Good morning Brothers, Happy Friday. Praise God for waking you up this morning. God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to pray and thank him for bringing you through another week. What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called the Messiah? Pilate asked. They all answered, Crucify him! Why? What crime has he committed? asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, Crucify him! (‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27‬:‭22‬-23). Let’s sing, This is My will, My one command, That love should dwell among you all. This is My will that you should love As I have shown that I love you. No greater love a man can have Than that he die to save his friends. You are My friends if you obey What I command that you should do. Today’s verse is from John 15:13. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. Jesus wasn't just a good man who died an unjust death. He was the spotless Son of God-sinless, blameless, holy. Death had no rightful claim on Him. That alone should be enough to leave us in awe. But what makes His sacrifice even more astounding are the people He died for. Prostitutes. Outcasts. The unclean. Sinners. Jesus laid down His life for everyone. Jesus laid down His life so that anyone might become His friend. So that everyone might receive His love. On this Good Friday, let's remember that by telling someone who needs His mercy and grace. Who are the friends in your life who Jesus gave His life for that still don't know about His sacrifice? Take a moment today and rest in this truth:

There is no greater love than the love Jesus has for you. He proved it on the cross. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
