Oh To Be Wise Meditations
There are some things that only you and God will see. And you know you have to make the righteous choice. Though no one else may see it, God sees it and expects you to reflect his character. You have looked deep into my heart, LORD, and you know all about me. You know when I am resting or when I am working, and from heaven you discover my thoughts. You notice everything I do and everywhere I go. Before I even speak a word, you know what I will say, and with your powerful arm you protect me from every side. The friendship of the LORD is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men’s hearts; and then each man’s praise will come to him from God. Yes, The eyes of the LORD are in every place, observing the evil and the good. Realize personal accountability to God when scripture says, give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you. Again, there are some things that only you and God will see. Would not God find things out? For He knows the secrets of the heart.
