Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Grace makes me want to change. Instead of a task master to the flesh, Jesus has come to lightened the load, carry the burden. He says, Come to me, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. .Place my yoke over your shoulders, and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble. Then you will find rest for yourselves because my yoke is easy and my burden is light. For the momentary lightness of our tribulation is working out for us an immeasurably greater and everlasting fullness of glory; So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. I must keep my eyes on Jesus, He is my motivation for change and abundant life. I would wander and waddle in my own sin and guilt if it wasn't for the radiance of Christ's face. Blessed are those who listen to Jesus, watching daily at his doors, waiting at his doorway. Whoever finds Him finds life and obtains favor from the LORD. Those who fail to find Jesus harm themselves; all who hate Him love death. Unto us has been given the opportunity to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. Grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. Yes, may it multiply as eternal fruit from faith to faith. The love of Jesus makes me want to change.
