Oh To Be Wise Meditations
What will you do with this gift of faith given to you by the Cross and now risen in your hearts? Will you allow your faith in Jesus to change your life? The way you think and have your being? The gift of faith has been given to all who believe no matter rich or poor, Jew or Gentile. This is not for the hoarding but for the building of the body of Christ. Listen to me, dear brothers and sisters. Hasn’t God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith? Aren’t they the ones who will inherit the Kingdom he promised to those who love him? God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
