Oh To Be Wise Meditations
What is real? Something I can believe in? Your truth oh LORD. The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever. Your word, O LORD, is everlasting; it is firmly fixed in the heavens. And may it be so over all the earth. Long ago I learned from Your testimonies that You have established them forever. In a wicked world where It seems nothing is real but heart ache and pain. I find comfort in the real presence of your word in my heart and life. The reason why so many people do not know what is real anymore is because they are always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. Having depraved minds and a counterfeit faith. Little by little their truths fall apart against the holiness of Gods sure word, their folly will be clear to everyone. So teach these things, fellow Christian, and encourage everyone to obey them. Some people may contradict sound teaching, but these are the wholesome teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. These teachings promote a godly life. Anyone who teaches something different is arrogant and lacks understanding. Such a person has an unhealthy desire to quibble over the meaning of words. This stirs up arguments ending in jealousy, division, slander, and evil suspicions. These people always cause trouble. Their minds are corrupt, and they have turned their backs on the truth. To them, a show of godliness is just a way to become wealthy.
