Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Sin changes everything. What was meant for good now somehow is used for evil. What was holy and held with high regard, now is a byword and trampled underfoot. Sin waters down and dilutes the precious word of God. That is why the law of God became an obstacle to humanity. What is just, holy and good condemns mankind and brings them destruction and death. And with more sin in society more law needs to be given to restrain and protect. We need law and order and Gods precepts even more to live a prosperous life in a sinful world. Sin has changed everything from what God intended it to be. And He has given us his laws to coincided with our God given morality. Jesus is and has made all things new. His love, his life has changed everything. He is our Wisdom from Heaven to guide us from this life unto the next. Daily we are learning how not just to be good people. To go from dead people in sin to alive in people practicing righteousness.
