Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Go and comfort your brothers. Jesus predicted Peter's denial. He said in Luke 22:23 But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers.” Peter did go and deny Christ but he did repent and strengthen his brothers. Think about this: After Jesus' servants are strengthened, then they go out to strengthen their brothers and sisters. Jesus restored Peter on the beach affirming him to feed his sheep. It became Peter's future mission as he led the early church. Listen to Him in 1 Peter 5:10 "And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast."

The LORD is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. He encourages our hearts and strengthens you in every good deed and word. With that same encouragement lets go comfort someone today in there walk with God in this world. Their is rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. Yes, there is joy in the presence of God's angels over one sinner who repents. Hear our Heavenly Father say today, For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ Lets begin to celebrate and help bring many sons to glory through the power of the Gospel.
