Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Ask to receive. Many times we expect people to be mind readers. But to get help we have to ask for it. It is the same with God who already knows what is best for us and is working all things together for our good. Jesus says, if you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. Also, and I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Amen. Remember, if any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. Jesus has already given us another advocate to help us and be with us forever. The Holy Spirit is our guide to all truth and our leads our direction towards the righteous path. Its time we start asking to receive. Ask the LORD to bless your plans, and you will be successful in carrying them out. Everything the LORD has made has its destiny; and the destiny of the wicked is destruction. The LORD hates everyone who is arrogant; he will never let them escape punishment. Be loyal and faithful, and God will forgive your sin. Obey the LORD and nothing evil will happen to you. When you please the LORD, you can make your enemies into friends. Amen. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
