Oh To Be Wise Meditations

The LORD promises compassion. In this life we will experience seasons of grief and unfortunate difficulties. No matter what we face The LORD promises compassion. We are never alone, Holy Spirit is with us during the darkest of times as our light. We find peace in God even in troubles and trials knowing he will work things out. We are safe and secure with such a powerful Gospel we live from. And on the other side of things we find discernment and strength to move on. The wicked have nothing to live for after desire is gone. The wicked cannot sleep until they have done something evil. Yes, they will not rest until they bring someone down. Evil and violence are their food and drink. The path of those who live right is like the early morning light. It gets brighter and brighter until the full light of day. Oh Jesus our light from heaven, dry our eyes from the tears of grief and sorrow. We trust you in the heartache and pain. Send your compassion and nurse me with Holy Spirit. Uphold me, empower me, and send me to do your will. Even in the Valley of the the shadow of death your compassions never fail. For no one is cast off by the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to anyone. If people crush underfoot all the prisoners of the land, if they deprive others of their rights in defiance of the Most High, if they twist justice in the courts— doesn’t the Lord see all these things? Who has spoken and it came to pass, unless the Lord has commanded it? Who has spoken and it came to pass, unless the Lord has commanded it? Then why should we, mere humans, complain when we are punished for our sins? Instead, let us test and examine our ways. Let us turn back to the LORD.  Let us lift our hearts and hands to God in heaven and say, We have sinned and rebelled, and you have not forgiven us.
