Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Conquer yourself. To be self controlled is one of the greatest virtues to pursue. The Spirit of Christ has given us a spirit of power and love. Instead of strong willed, we are God-willed. So many people want to conquer this world when in reality they can't even conquer themselves. Patience is better than power, and controlling one’s emotions, than capturing a city. A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man promotes folly. In Rev. 3:11 Jesus says I am coming soon. Hold fast to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.

All who are victorious will become pillars in the Temple of my God, and they will never have to leave it. And I will write on them the name of my God, and they will be citizens in the city of my God—the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God. And I will also write on them my new name. Amen. The Kingdom is at Hand and this world has been redeemed by blood of the Lamb. Christ Jesus our LORD has already conquered and become King of Heaven and Earth. Its due time we submit to Gods will and purpose. The last battle to play out in these last days is for the lost souls. Christ wants to conquer souls through the power of his love. Holy Spirit come, help me learn to submit daily to your leading. I want to conquer myself. I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die. I have been set free so that I can freely submit to Gods will for my life. Conquer me Jesus. Subdue in flesh and Live in me.
