Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Jesus understands every weakness of ours, because he was tempted in every way that we are. But he did not sin! So we can go confidently to the throne of God's kindness to receive mercy and find kindness, which will help us at the right time. We are perfectly understood by our Savior. Be real and raw with our LORD. He wants us to draw near so that He can give us the strength against temptation. It is not about biting your lip and forcing your way to victory. Yes, we discipline our body unto holiness. But we can only do so much in the flesh. The Spirit of Christ living in us daily gives us the victory over sin and destruction working in us constantly. So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
