Oh To Be Wise Meditations

You are headed for trouble! When you say wrong is right, darkness is light, and bitter is sweet. Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent, both are detestable to the LORD. Do not be wise in your own eyes;

Fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Worship of sin is not normal. And to call it human rights is true evil. There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community. LORD Jesus help us to deal with sin in our own lives and not be hypocrites. Many of us stand by approve sin because we are ourselves have nothing to give. Give me a righteousness that comes daily from me being in your presence. A pure heart that is not ashamed and can be a light in a sinful and wicked generation.
