Oh To Be Wise Meditations
The anchor holds. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. I have an unmovable anchor to my soul and that is the love of Jesus Christ for soul! Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God. Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me. But each day the LORD pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
