Perseverance brings a harvest

Good morning Brothers. Happy Thursday! God loves you. I love you. Take a moment to pray with a loved one. God will hear and answer your prayers. Thank God for waking you up this blessed morning. And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.(Matthew 6:5-6). Let’s sing, Take time to be holy, Speak oft with thy Lord; Abide in Him always, And feed on His word; Make friends of God's children, Help those who are weak, Forgetting in nothing His blessing to seek. Take time to be holy, The world rushes on; Spend much time in secret With Jesus alone; By looking to Jesus, Like Him thou shalt be; Thy friends in thy conduct His likeness shall see! Today’s verse is from Hebrews 12:11. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. Spiritual training is better with friends. Commit to read the Bible every day, and invite someone to join you! Whether you start a Bible Plan, engage with Guided Scripture, or read one chapter at a time, studying God's Word will transform your life. Take some time today to consider: Where can you allow the Holy Spirit to build discipline in your life? What daily habits should you begin working on today? Building discipline into your life is worth it with the results being peace and a desire for righteousness. God loves you. Have a blessed day.
