Power, Love, and Discipline

Good morning Brothers, Happy Wednesday. Praise God for waking you up this beautiful morning. God loves you. I love you. God is good all the time and all the time. God is good! Take a moment to pray for a loved one and keep Jamaica in your thoughts and prayers. God will hear and answer your prayers. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.(Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬). Let’s sing, To God be the glory, great things he hath done! So loved he the world that he gave us his Son, who yielded his life an atonement for sin, and opened the lifegate that all may go in. Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the earth hear his voice! Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the people rejoice! O come to the Father thru Jesus the Son, and give him the glory, great things he hath done! Today’s verse is from 2 Timothy 1:7. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. God's Spirit meets us in the middle of our fear, and gives us the power to fight back. We need the Spirit of God to do the work of God. So take some time today to talk with God. Ask Him to empower you by His Spirit toward confidence, love, and self-discipline. Consider how God is leading you to change the way you live. As you do that, remember that God doesn't give us fear. He fills us with love because He wants us to experience a confident relationship with Him. Ask Him to lead you in every area of life, especially as you share your faith! God loves you.
