Proverbs of 40 yr old man
Reveal the Son in me. No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is at the Father's side, has made Him known. The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Jesus knew that the Father had given him authority over everything and that he had come from God and would return to God. The Father revealed the Son to the world and they knew him not. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God. The Word became a human being and lived here with us. We saw his true glory, the glory of the only Son of the Father. From him the complete gifts of undeserved grace and truth have come down to us. Paul said in Gal. 1:16, God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles. We to have been called to reveal the Son through the power of the Gospel being revealed in our lives. Jesus gave birth to many sons and daughters through his death and resurrection. He revealed the Father as we reveal the Son to a orphan world. We reveal sonship so that God can add family to his Great Kingdom. Marvel at the words of Christ before leaving this world and going to his coronation in Heaven: I have given them your word. And the world hates them because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one. They do not belong to this world any more than I do. Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth. Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world. And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth. “I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began! “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.”
