Proverbs of 40 yr old man

Jesus marveled when he saw faith in action. He marveled at the faith of the centurion. He honored the faith of Syrophoenician woman. He praised the woman with the issue of blood for reaching for her healing. He loves to see people dig down deep beyond what there present circumstances are, and then find their hope and trust in the LORD. I think when Jesus sees his people trusting in the midst of extreme suffering, he marvels. When he sees people from the roughest backgrounds come to him with brokenhearted humility, he marvels. When he sees you give up comfort and security for the sake of his kingdom, he marvels. Does Jesus ever marvel at you or me? Is he amazed by our zeal for Him, our desire to grow in him and put him first? We can show our growing faith in God by just being obedient. Doing the things he has asked us to do and not complain about it. Oh, what a gift to know you took Jesus breath away by your faith and deeds. Listen to Scripture starting with Hebrews 10:32 Think back on those early days when you first learned about Christ. Remember how you remained faithful even though it meant terrible suffering. Sometimes you were abused and mistreated in public, and at other times you shared in the sufferings of others. You were kind to people in jail. And you gladly let your possessions be taken away, because you knew you had something better, something that would last forever. So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. Amen. Blessed are those who believe without even seeing Jesus! He marvels at the faith of his little ones and gives the light of hope to every person who calls on his name! Go be a light of faith today for the LORD. He loves to see us living and sharing his light in a dark and sinful world. I want to close with this is a powerful reflection on what faith looks like in Revelation 12:11: They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
