Proverbs of a 37 yr old man

Sorrow is better than laughter, for sadness has a refining influence on us. In spite of a sad face, the heart can be joyful. Be careful with excessive sorrow, stay humble before the LORD and keep his name Holy. When God makes you feel sorry enough to turn to him and be saved, you don't have anything to feel bad about. But when this world makes you feel sorry, it can cause your death. So the redeemed of the LORD will return and enter Zion with singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,' and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away." Those who sowed their tears in the hope of Christ will soon reap the joy of eternal salvation. Our suffering is light and temporary and is producing for us an eternal glory that is greater than anything we can imagine. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To Him be the power forever and ever. Amen.
