Proverbs of a 38 yr old man
The River walk. Come with me, down the river that makes glad the city of God. The holy place where the Most High Dwells. Glorious things of you are spoken, O city of God! Amazing how the spirit of life flows through canals and open by ways under the bridge. It makes glad the people in the city as they go about their day. A place of refreshing as you look upon the bridge God has made in Christ with man. Connecting the city of God with the cities of man with One Spirit over it all. Oh that we would take this refreshing spirit and life and bring it into the thirsty places in our world and country. As it is in heaven may it be so here on earth! Imagine how well watered and perfect peace Heaven is at this moment. Listen closely, I hear a fountain flowing with peace and serenity in every drop. And I see a holy landscape containing a river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. It flows down the center of the main street. And on each side of the river is a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves are used for medicine to heal the nations. There is no curse upon anything. For the throne of God and of the Lamb are there, and his servants worship him. There is no more night. There is no need for the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God gives light. Citizens of heaven reign for ever and ever. Yes, reign in our hearts oh LORD Jesus. Flow your rivers of life in me and through me, washing and regenerating my heart through every canal and byway. Take me with you Jesus down the Holy River walk, for you have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand. You feed us all from the abundance of your own house, letting us drink from your river of delights.
