Proverbs of a 39 yr old man

Let the ground rest. You have done the best you can and given your time and dedication. It’s time to rest and trust God through the harsh seasons that we are in. All throughout our lives the LORD has been faithful, will He not bear fruit in due season? What we have planted by faith in the LORD will reap a hundred fold if according to his word, which never comes back to him in void. We must allow people to rest in their hearts and not pressure them out of the seasons they are in. Growth comes from periods of rest and barrenness. There are seasons of winter where nothing grows in our lives. It feels so barren but the ground is resting for the harvest to come. It’s a process to exist, to learn and understand God’s love. While His love is not seasonal, we go through seasons as we understand and experience it. Spring is not spring without winter, and that process is a good thing. Rest oh heart. The harvest is coming. I see the Great Gardener Himself covering you with a tarp of love as the cold days pass you by. Look to the clouds the Sun is coming soon to shine its light on your face and give you peace. Jesus, come tend to the soil of my soul! And like a garden I know I will grow. What has been dead is dead with the winter past. We're coming back to life again soon and very soon. LORD, I’m reaching towards your light! The winter is gone and your love warms me again like a first love. Your love is like springtime.  You are living water and I thirst for you.  Out of my dry and the barren heart will I flower and bloom. You are the sun that's shining restoring my soul. The deeper you dig your word into the soul of my heart the more deeper my trust in you will be. Yes, your incorruptible seed goes down deep so when the seasons of life come and go I am as safe and strong as a mustard seed.
