Proverbs of a 39 yr old man

Lose your voice. The voice of influence in our lives gets tiring over time. Our hearts lose that passion to listen and we yearn to hear from a different voice and direction. People want a new voice, new perspective, new leadership whether it be at work or in church or in our communities. And it’s even harder to be a constant voice in someone's life. Your spouse, your children, co workers, members of your church. If you are not living out what your speaking your voice and influence gets watered down. Worse, others approve of your double life and spread dissension through your influence. Reflect on this, every four years America unites to see if our hearts and minds are align with where we want our nation to be heading. Our new President is that voice every four years or continued voice. This is the same for people in our jobs, churches, and communities. People want someone to speak for them and to represent them, giving them a fresh new platform. Out with the old and in with the new. Especially if words have become empty and action has not taken placed. People don’t just want an empty suit, they want to see you with some skin in the game. Politicians have become experts in speaking from both sides of their mouth, knowing how to play to the crowd and their opinions. Our pastors and leaders in churches try to lead us and encourage us, to give us a word from the LORD. They try to live out the example in hopes that you would learn and grow and be apart of the growing Body of Christ. A thus says the LORD message but over time the shine in their voice waters down. We hear their voice so much we tend to lose the importance of having a voice in our lives. Whether it be friends and family, or a leader or pastor. We need a continual voice in our lives. That is the gift and wisdom in the having the Church where we can edify each other with our spiritual gifts. But we are fragile humanity, we can barely hear for others needs, how can we hear for ourselves? There is a voice that is always fresh and never tired. Always flowing, always running and never emptying of its power. A full stream and wind to guide in the way we should go. I am but a mere man who receives from the LORD daily but I am weak and burdensome too. What I write to you, you must eat of the watermelon and spit out the seeds. That is why you must always strive to keep the only voice that matters in your life, and that is Jesus Christ. He speaks through the Living Word and into our hearts. Leading us to other voices who hear that same calling and we worship and nurture each other in the Spirit. We need the Voice of Jesus so that we can all be one voice echoing the truths of God through each unique life and purpose. I may lose my voice and influence in your life. Like Moses and the people of Israel, the shine on my face you may not see over time because of my humanity and because of the bitterness and trial of this life. I am but a voice shouting in the wilderness of this world to remind you to always keep a clear conscience so that you can always hear the voice of Heaven in Christ! His voice is the voice of many waters that can stir dead in sin generations into new living hearts flowing with fresh living water. You need a voice in your life. You need the Spirit of Christ.
