Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
Jesus, Jesus, Holy and Anointed One. Risen and exalted one. Anointed to bring good news to the poor; to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion. To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. His name is like honey on our lips, His Spirit like water to our soul, and His Word is a lamp unto our feet. It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. Through the power and anointing of the Gospel living in us we are called to bring good news to the poor; to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion. We lead people to Jesus and He pours out his oil of joy over the repentant sinner. His crown of life for his redeemed, and his abundant life that causing you to sing praises to God. Say: Jesus, Jesus, Holy and Anointed One. Risen and exalted one!
