Know yourself. In order to truly know yourself you must know God and his purpose for you. The key to self love is loving God with all your soul, your mind, and your strength. When you study God, investigate God, get to know Gods quality, his nature, and all of his characteristics. You begin to truly discover yourself and know yourself in Christ. Because you are also made in Gods image. You begin to find out who your are by studying Gods Word falling in love with the person Jesus is calling you to be. The very goodness of God you see in yourself and you want to share it with others. You love yourself because God loves you. Love comes from God, and when we love each other, it shows we have been given new life. We are now God's children, and we know him. The person who doesn't love doesn't know God, because God is love. God showed his love for us when he sent his only Son into the world to give us life. Real love isn't our love for God, but his love for us. God sent his Son to be the sacrifice by which our sins are forgiven. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God. Jesus knows me so well, and therefore I know myself. I love you LORD.
