Set up your tabernacle in me. Oh Holy Spirit, like a skilled incense maker that blends ingredients to make holy anointing oil. Use the sacred oil of your presence to anoint me as a Tabernacle unto the LORD. Yes, touch every part of my life and flow the oil of your presence over every part of my heart and soul! I have been washed clean and purified by the blood of Jesus! Yes, by his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple. The people right before the flood disobeyed God while Noah was building the boat, but God had been patient with them. Eight people went into that boat and were brought safely through the flood. Those flood waters were like baptism that now saves you. But baptism is more than just washing your body. It means turning to God with a clear conscience, because Jesus Christ was raised from death. LORD Jesus, you have cleansed me with hyssop, you have washed me whiter than snow, come pour over me your continually Presence daily! Holy Spirit I need you like a dry and weary land needs water. Baptize me with fire and cover me with the oil of the Spirit of Christ! Pour His Fragrance over me! Thank you for consecrating me and making me absolutely holy by your blood. Whoever I come in contact with, use my life, my temple, as a living sacrifice to overflow your Spirit. Touch others hearts and lives with your love and presence and I know you will make them a holy tabernacle like you did for me.
