Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
To truly know God is to know the Trinity. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. God the Father knew you and chose you long ago, and his Spirit has made you holy. As a result, you have obeyed him and have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us. Jesus said, blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and rejoice with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls. So enter into this rest that God has provided for souls. Yes, worship Him and continue to know God by faith. Receiving the love and acceptance of the Father, growing in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, and being sanctified by Holy Spirit. Hear Jesus heart for you and me: I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one—as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. “I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began!
