Proverbs of a 39 yr old man

Protect the flock. Protect the flock at all cost. Even at your own expense. If anyone causes one of these little ones, those who believe in Jesus to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. So protect your family and friends. Protect your church and your jobs. The wolf of the world dresses up in sheep’s clothing disguised as a Shepherd. But really the wolf wants to maneuver in the flock and cause division. Devouring every soul he can by stealing them away from good fellowship and isolating. LORD Jesus rebuke the devourer and keeps his sharp teeth of pride from my loved ones. Like you, I want to be able to say I have not lost one of those you have given me. My family, my brothers and sisters in Christ, and my co workers and friends. I want to pour out with great devotion a life lived for Gods glory. I am his sheep and he is my Shepherd. He calls me to shepherd well the people and things he has given me. And when the lion and the bear come against the flock I beat them away by the power of Gods Spirit and Word. As a leader and shepherd of your home or job, or leader at a church. You are the first line of defense against the attacks of the enemy wolf. You do the dirty work of discipline and justice even for the littlest of babes, and to the greatest and heads of companies. Protecting the flock means guarding your heart and caring for the needs of others. Honoring to the point of humility and grace. O LORD, protect your people with your shepherd’s staff; lead your flock, your special possession. Yes, feed your flock like a Shepherd. Carry the lambs in your arms, holding them close to your heart. Your Spirit will lead us gently like a mother sheep leads with their young. Your love and dedication inspires me to want to protect your flock. I imitate you Jesus. I am your Shepherd.
