Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
Stay with you. I want to stay with you all day Jesus. In your presence time just stands so still. My heart burns for you the living God! Early I wake up hungry for your love and fellowship. For your wisdom and insight in your Word. Worship is a joy just knowing you are near. In your presence is fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. Oh the toil and labor of the day it makes me not want to start my day. But then I hear your sweet voice in my heart and mind say take me with you. Yes, you remind me you are Emmanuel God with us. As well as God in us, Christ in me the hope of glory. Even in the valley of the shadow of death I can fear no evil for you are with me. And in the cool of the day I can be comforted by Holy Spirit who dwells with us and in us. I want to stay with you but praise God you want to stay with me all day through Holy Spirit. What an honor and privilege to host your Holy Presence! I leave my prayer closet and my personal high mountain to go be a light of your presence in this dark world. I want more of you Jesus and I never want it to end. Like the trail of your robe that fills your temple so fill me completely so that others may see a trail behind me that follows into your holy presence. In your throne room I humbly beat my chest saying LORD forgive me, revive me, and strengthen me according to your grace and mercy. Today if you’re standing at a distance before the throne and not even able to look up to heaven because of guilt and shame saying God, have mercy on me, a sinner. Rejoice greatly more than the prideful in his presence, for you go home justified before God. All those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. For when you leave the throne room you leave with Gods favor and presence because He stays with you in the power and presence of the Spirit of Christ!
