Proverbs of a 39 yr old man
The righteous keep moving forward, and those with clean hands become stronger and stronger. Even in setbacks we are called to remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. But to see that the LORD is doing a something new! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? he is making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. Oh what a joy it is to see those once blind now able to see the power of the Gospel! To see those who could not hear but now hear the voice of the Shepherd so clearly. Go and share to the ends of the earth that the blind see, the lame walk, those with leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life, and the Good News is being preached to the poor! Amen. When God tells you what to do as He pours out Holy Spirit in abundance, you cannot hesitate. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For, “In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.” And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved. Say today: I will not look with approval on anything that is vile. I hate what faithless people do; I will have no part in it. The perverse of heart shall be far from me; I will have nothing to do with what is evil. Whoever slanders their neighbor in secret, I will put to silence; whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart, I will not tolerate. I will search for faithful people to be my companions and be a friend to all who fear The LORD, and to those who keep His precepts. And so, God willing, I will move forward to further understanding. So help me Jesus! The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.
